I had looked into the hydradrill a couple years ago wanting to drill my own well at our offgrid cabin. Of course I wanted to save some money buy also like being a do it yourself er. I was skeptical at first but decided to buy the deluxe kit and give it a go. It works! I was able to drill an 80 foot deep well through clay and rock.

I can tell you the most valuable part of the kit is the DVD!! Watched it twice before drilling and again during the process. All the tips tricks and know how are on the DVDs. It wasn't an easy task but certainly doable. It definitely helps to have one or two people.

Drilled through many rocks. It was satisfying to hear the pieces come up the tube. If you're skeptical like I am rest assured you won't be disappointed with this drill and setup!
