We drilled without any problem but are still working on getting the water out... as far as the drilling, it went well. Your video and instructions were complete and easy to follow with my husband and two sons, all with apt skills for something like this, although none had ever attempted drilling a well, doing the project.

They were a bit creative as you suggested with only a few more ideas. At the first, they thought we were hitting one of the huge rocks we have around here but it was gravel instead. We drilled on two days to reach 57 1/2 feet where we stopped, having hit 8 feet of sand and hitting another hard place. They did connect a small pump using a compressor and pumped water for almost an hour after installing the casing. But they are still pondering what to do next... Thank you for your DIY instructions!
