This 8" bit will drill a large enough hole for 6" casing. However, you MUST use a smaller bit, such as our 4" casing bit, to drill the hole first and use this only as a reamer bit.

We experimented with dozens upon dozens of different styles of bits over the years, and settled on this design. The hollow center reduces drag on the motor, and also gives clay no place to ball up while drilling. All our bits use case hardened steel and a very high quality carbide hard surfacing in a nickel matrix for durability. In most soils, you will only need a single bit to drill a well.
